Horticultural Key Account Manager
As Key Account Sales Manager you will interact and communicate frequently with our clients key account customers and provide them with a level of service that exceeds their expectations, identifying and anticipating issues ahead of any required action. This includes accurate and timely completion of their orders and delivery process, solving customer problems and questions as quickly as possible. In addition, this role requires maintaining a positive and professional relationship with customers, always placing a strong emphasis on retention and growth of their business by playing the role of customer advocate and providing feedback to your line management and teams.
Ideally our client is seeking a top Sales and Account Management professional who has worked in the horticultural or fresh produce sector and understands the demands of fast paced, time sensitive business who need to move stock swiftly.
Therefore you will need to have:
Very good level of GCSE qualifications or equivalent, especially Maths and English.
Good experience of communicating with customers via different channels, including face-to-face, telephone and email.
Must possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word and Outlook and the ability to develop skills quickly on the ordering system, PAT.
Excellent time management and organisational skills. Experience of managing a range of key customer sales accounts is desirable, but not essential.
Requires an excellent understanding of business processes, strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good plant and horticultural product knowledge is desirable.
This role is predominantly office based at their Cambridgeshire Nurseries.
