UK & European Key Account Manager - Professional Personal Care

It is an exciting time in this fast growing company with their turnover doubling in 2 years with plans to quadruple this in 5 years. As a market leading cosmetics business, they distribute to over 80 countries, led from their head office in the UK. They operate across the high street majorly with their employees mirroring the fast growth they have experienced. As an up and coming company they are now looking to add to their dynamic and ambitious team.

As Key Account Manager reporting into the International Sales Manager, it would be your role to assist in the management of accounts and commercial projects within the professional sector and in Europe. You would also be responsible for communicating with Distributors on a daily basis - managing and overcoming any issues or changes. Attending trade shows as well as training relevant partners on the use and selling of products is also a key part of the role.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Pitching ideas to clients.
  • Presenting sales strategy both internally and externally.
  • Generating sales figures and reports to feed back to the business.
  • Communicating with PR and Marketing teams to align strategy with accounts and distributors.
  • Assist in mentoring and training new members of the sales team.

A successful candidate would come from a beauty or cosmetics background with the experience of working in a sales team. A working understanding of the distributor sales model would be preferable as well as the ability to communicate articulately with a variety of professionals. Due to the amount of public speaking involved in the position, you must have a confident outgoing personality, as well as ambitious nature to match that of this growing company.
