About our Client: 

Our client is a true global giant in the chilled and ambient drink categories. With some of the UK's most recognised brands, constant innovation and NPD, they have seen steady growth over the last 5 years. A new senior management team has been introduced in the last 12 months bringing new and exciting ideas to add to the company's already forward thinking strategies. Due to the size of the operation in the UK market, the team are given tonnes of autonomy and have a feel of an SME business but still have the financial backing from their global markets. About the Role: 

Our client is looking for a National Account Manager to work across their Grocery and Discounter channels. Due to the complexity of working across these channels, there will be many Head Office buying contacts with whom you will need to be in close contact throughout the sales cycle and shelf life's of our client's products. The relationships within the accounts are very good and they are looking for someone to come into the business to develop them but also not shy away from making tough decisions where needed. Promotion within 12 months is very achievable for motivated candidates. 

Other duties will include:

  • Full input in Joint Business Plans.
  • Involvement with new sales cycles for new products which are constantly being developed.
  • Have full P&L responsibility for all accounts.
  • Have full support from the Head of Sales and Managing Director.

 

About You:  

You will be an experienced Grocery National Account Manager who come into the business, take the reigns of these accounts and grow them to their highest potential. You will show a good commercial ability and an "I can" attitude when it comes to work and facing new challenges. 

Other competencies needed:

  • Experience in leading new sales cycles.
  • Being able to make decisive choices.
  • Ability to create a 6,12 and 24 month sales strategy.
