This company produces some well know products that have a very high profile amongst the British public. Over the last few years they have developed some new innovative ranges and upped their marketing activity to really increase sales by a significant amount.

A well loved British brand is currently looking for a category manager to help manage a busy workload whilst the team is being reorganised. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team that works with all the major grocery multiples and help develop category plans.

This is a busy role where you will be working with a number of retailers helping the sales team understand both the insight and sales data to help maximise their efficiency. Some of the brands are category leaders so you will be working with the retailers to help develop the category further.

The role will require someone in the office five days a week to support the senior category manager in helping to develop the category plans as well as working with the shopper teams to capitalise on the ongoing campaigns.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following skills:

-Strong category management skills from within an FMCG environment

- Experience of working with major blue chip brands

- Good understanding of the major insight databases including Kantar, Dunnhumby and Neilson

- The ability to manage multiple projects at anyone time.

- Good analytical background with the ability to interpret complex figures.
