The areas to be covered will be: Southern Region

Summary:  Accountable for the smooth running of 6 Southern based Van Sales Depots

DESCRIPTION:

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our team based in the South. As Regional Operations & Sales Manager  you’ll be accountable for our Southern Depots, ensuring operational compliance and efficiencies as well as driving sales growth. It’s a unique role that would suit someone with a solid attention to detail but with flair and dynamisms that will motivate colleagues and inspire our customers.

The key accountabilities and responsibilities of this role are:

Overseeing the day-to-day Operation for all Depots
Maintaining Compliance in MT & H&S  in all Depots
Ensuring all Journeys are fully manned and ran efficiently
Maximising Sales through all Depots
Ensuring Waste & Leakage is within Budget for all Depots
Depot colleague retention through effective leadership

Key skills will include:

Journey & Demand planning

Strong operations background

The ability to work calmly under pressure
Strong relationship builder
Strong influencing skills
Strong communication skills

Spearheading cross-functional ways of working with Group colleagues

Enthusiastic with a can do attitude
P&L knowledge
Sales experience and knowledge of Sales processes


Key Measurements:

Sales to Budget against Last Years performance by Depot
P&L to Budget against Last Years performance by Depot
Customer retention in line with company targets

Direct Line Manager to Three Depot Sales Managers


DSM Midlands - Responsible for Grantham & Tamworth Depots
DSM South – Responsible for Reading, Eastleigh & Portbury Depots
DSM Central London – Responsible for Woolwich Depot
