Salary - Flexible basic + company car + private medical care + pension

Office/Field based - North West

We are currently searching for a National Account Manager to join a leading international manufacturer of household kitchenware and consumables. Their products, which includes everything from table cloths to candles to food packaging and a whole lot more, are found in over 40 different markets and are produced in multiple production units across Europe and Asia. The business has been established for over 60 years and has great relationships with reputable organisations throughout Retail/Grocery, Foodservice and hospitality sectors.

The role of National Account Manager will involve expanding sales and maximising margins within existing customers including UK Multiples such as Tesco, ASDA, Morrison's, M&S, Co-Op, John Lewis, Wilkinson's & Waitrose. You will be responsible for the implementation of new private label and brand customer requirements and weekly analysis of major account EPOS data. You will also be responsible for identifying and enriching new customers within the sector and managing the relationship thereafter.

As a successful candidate, you will have recent and up to date experience as a National Account Manager or National Account Executive within FMCG and have had full P&L responsibility with one or more of the aforementioned accounts. Ideally you will come from a non-food, own label background but it's not essential. What is essential is your personality and how you engage with your customers! This is a fairly autonomous role within a business where you will be treated like part of the family. It's a close knit and friendly team but one that is excited to bring in new knowledge and experiences to the company where colleagues can learn from each other.
