IT Project Manager

Based:        Lodz, Poland

We are looking for IT Project Manager to join our Global IT Solutions Team. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Key Regional and Global projects to assure on time delivery, effective cost and risk management, and proactively manage integration with other projects and existing solutions..
  • Organize and lead project from planning to implementation, managing inputs from team members across matrixed teams.
  • Lead project meetings, training sessions, workshops and status updates..
  • Utilize McCormick IT PMO best project practices including process, tools and reports.
  • Gather and report on key metrics. Assist in the development of a consolidated portfolio view within the IT Solutions team, supported by standardized project metrics. 
  • Participate in projects stages with IT PMO, and other PMO sponsored project peer reviews to assess and communicate project performance.
  • Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the business needs.
  • Analyse completeness of financial budget established for project and monitor project actual spending

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University Degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Technology or related field.. 
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience managing projects including large cross-functional and global initiatives
  • Minimum 6 years of IT business experience required. 
  • Broad knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Project Management 
  • Experience facilitating, training, managing and implementing technology projects and process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations.
  • Solid interaction, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify needs/issues, probe for root causes, and evaluate alternative business solutions and approaches.
  • Strong problem solving skills 
  • Fluent English.
