Interim Commercial Manager - great six months plus opportunity - Food manufacturing or FMCG experience - own label and branded
This interim assignment is an immediate start for an experienced Commercial Manager who has worked in the food industry selling to both foodservice and the major UK retailers.
You'll need to roll up your sleeves and be heavily involved in driving sales in existing customers. There is also room for some business development to grow the portfolio. Not a strategic back office assignment, this is a front leading commercial contract.
There is a really positive ethos in this business and it comes from the top; real leadership and empowerment for the team makes this a really attractive commercial role. This interim assignment really needs a hands-on operator, an interim professional who enjoys being in the customer, building the relationship and creating growth. A professional operator, strong on the figures able to interpret data effectively and discuss in-depth awareness of the market with the customer and the senior team in the business. With an extensive network in the foodservice sector you will understand the nuances in this market and how it differs from manufacture for retail. That said, experience of selling into the major multiples would be an advantage.
