The McCormick Shared Services (MSS) Relationship Manager role operates within our Italian Drogheria & Alimentari business to facilitate and nurture a strong business partnership between local teams and the EMEA Shared Service Center. Responsible for building engagement between these teams, the MSS Relationship Manager must understand local business and MSS needs, and work in conjunction with the teams, to further initiatives in support of McCormick’s strategic objectives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in conjunction with local teams, the EMEA Shared Service Centerand Global Process Owners to facilitate business to business support, acts as a liaison and facilitates problem resolution where needed,
  • Supports changes / projects which may impact the Shared Service Center or local business operations
  • Works in conjunction with local teams the Shared Service Center, and Global Process Owners to facilitate process improvements, using process mapping, ideation and process analysis to drive out exceptions and reduce costs,
  • Acts as an ambassador to MSS by ensuring effective communications between the Shared Services Centre and business continuing to build trust in the MSS Brand,
  • In conjunction with Shared Services Centre Operations teams, facilitates training around key process to local business,
  • Provides leadership to ensure local team has what is needed to complete daily work. Be the first point of contact for those employees whose direct supervisors are not based on-site.

PERSON PROFILE

  • Degree or equivalent in Economics or in Business Management
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Proven ability to work in a Matrix organization, across geography and both up and down organization structure
  • Around 5 years Supervisory experience
  • Around 10 years Project team experience, to include those that support finance initiatives with the business functions
  • Around 10 years job experience working in AR and/or AP or other business service operations preferred
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement and facilitating change
  • System's technical acumen, i.e. SAP
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent both in Italian and English
