As part of the continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a National Account Executive/ Manager to join a fast growing, family knit and genuinely fantastic company to implement, create and drive both strategy and performance of national accounts within a sought after category. 

The company 

With an impressive heritage, this company has quickly grown to become one of the principal UK based distributors & manufacturers of drinks from across the globe! With a portfolio of over 1300 SKUs, they sell into wholesalers, restaurants and retailers both UK and Internationally! This role is an incredible opportunity for somebody to join an industry many dream of operating in, for a company that offer a fantastic package, a remarkable company to become a part of with on-site gyms, wine tasting rooms and an opportunity to complete in house qualifications!

Responsibilities

  • Creatively drive the full P & L management of your own portfolio of accounts
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Accounts to maximise short and long term profit potential
  • Develop effective strategies that exhibits depth & negotiation skills to win new customers 
  • Applying your understanding of category management, shopper trends and insight led selling solutions, to effectively communication and champion the distribution of both existing and new products 

The Candidate:

  • A background in National Account Management; preferably within Wine, and/ or drinks  
  • An ambitious and enthusiastic NAE looking for a step up
  • Full P & L accountability and full understanding of financial metrics 
  • Natural ability to influence and network both internally & externally throughout the supply chain 
  • Strong verbal and communications skills to listen to needs of customers 
  • A love for people & wine
