Internal Sales Administration Role – Capital Sales Specialist (Leeds)
**This role requires a background of selling Capital Equiptment**
Brakes Catering Equipment who are part of the Brakes Group (the largest foodservice supplier in the UK), distributes and sells thousands of different catering equipment items into the commercial catering market. Our clients range from sole traders to large multi national companies with a range of needs and requirements.
Due to the continued expansion and development of the internal Capital Equipment sales team we are looking for a candidate to fill an office based sales role at our Leeds HQ selling and promoting Catering Appliances and associated equipment. This role would involve taking incoming calls direct from our customer base and our network of field representatives.
This working hours of this position are Monday to Friday (8:45am – 5:15pm)
Duties of the role will include:-
  • Take incoming sales calls
  • Make outbound prospective calls
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Process orders using internal systems
  • Create/distribute and follow up quotations
  • Liaise with our field sales teams to maximise all leads
  • Accurate recording of all figures and a good commercial awareness
Skills Required:-
  • Strong communicator
  • Comfortable communicating over the telephone
  • Previous sales experience either office based or in a face to face retail environment
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good customer service skills
  • High level of commercial awareness
  • A working knowledge of the Microsoft office package
  • A hunger and willingness to learn
In addition experience with commercial catering equipment either through a previous catering role (front or back of house) or previous catering sales role would be preferred though not essential as thorough training will be provided.
