Are you looking for a new Buying role within a focussed and dedicated market leader?

This is a great time to join this business. They have a clear strategy for the future, a new senior management team and the focus and dedication to maintain its market leading position. They've recently changed their buying approach and they are now looking for an experienced Packaging Buyer to deliver this strategy. You will be responsible for c£10 million spend across a huge number of SKUs making this a challenging, complex, yet hugely rewarding role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating on packaging prices without compromising quality
  • Sourcing new suppliers whilst managing the relationship with existing ones
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers developing strong working relationships

 


Candidates will need to have previous packaging buying experience gained within an FMCG environment. Ideally you will have experience of printed cartons, printed films and foils, corrugate and thermoformed items. Great analytical and organisational skills along with a strong track record of meeting targets and sustainable cost savings is essential. You'll be commercially aware with great communication and influencing skills.

This position would be suitable for an experienced Packaging Buyer seeking a new role in a friendly, dynamic and faced-paced business with scope for progression, development and training.
