This role of Customer Business Manager is an outstanding opportunity for an individual who is looking to progress their career within Customer Management, taking on the responsibility of managing a high profile portfolio.

To be considered for the post you will have been a Customer Business Manager/National Account Manager or similar within a FMCG (ideally) organisation and have had extensive experience of managing a full P&L.

Your responsibilities in this Customer Business Manager role involve full P&L responsibility for our joint business plan with a major retailer including volume, NSV, Gross Profit and Trade investment as well as market share and Sales growth.

You will negotiate business plans and manage sales of our full product range in line with Kimberly-Clark portfolio strategy along with the creation, presentation, tracking and management of the joint business plans, with regard to volume, sales, profit, category growth, distribution and promotional planning.

As this role is responsible for managing a major UK retailer, it is essential to pro-actively develop the customer relationship, building the business through the understanding of the sector and offering a data driven strategy to drive sustainable profit growth. An in-depth understanding of the multiple grocery market-place will facilitate the on-going support of the customer's business strategy and therefore prior grocery account management experience is essential.

You will need to be highly numerate, with excellent analytical abilities. You will also need a passion for negotiation combined with strong communication skills in order to build and develop the customer relationship, whilst the ability to demonstrate complex problem solving will be important to deliver key UK objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Sufficient experience within Customer Business/National Account Manager role or similar.
  • Graduate or equivalent desired
  • Knowledge of multiple grocery environment essential
  • Experience of negotiating and communicating at senior level
  • Extensive experience of sales forecasting and profit modelling
  • In-depth P&L Management experience
  • Knowledge of category, shopper and consumer data sources and insights
  • Broader experience in Category Management or marketing will be advantageous
  • Demonstration of strong commercial awareness and judgement along with problem solving ability
  • Fluent spoken and written English commensurate with the role.
  • The right or ability to obtain the right to work in the UK. This role is available for local candidates already authorised to work in the roles country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation for this role.
