Space Planner

Your new company
We have an outstanding opportunity for a Retail Space Planner to join a retailer with many years of success and employing thousands of staff in locations across the UK . You will be responsible for the analysis of range and space planning via the production of planograms designed to enhance the customer experience and optimise sales.

Your new role
The job holder will be responsible for the delivery of space planning guidelines via the design and production of merchandise layouts and planograms as well as the provision of appropriate information reporting and guidance to internal contacts on all issues pertaining to space and layouts. You will also need to have a sound understanding of ranging, pricing and category analysis and be able to present this data in real commercial terms to internal and external stake-holders

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have experience in a space planning (Merchandising) environment with knowledge of Space Planning Software such as JDA, Spaceman, Apollo etc. You will also need to demonstrate outstanding influencing skills and have a flair for the analysis and interpretation of complex data with the ability to translate this data in to commercial decision that have a direct impact on sales and profit.
