This is a business steeped in history, respected by retailers and loved by consumers.Our client specialises in providing premium ambient products to both UK Retail Grocery and Foodservice sectors. 

They also manufacture own label, premium, chilled products and have a huge import/export arm which supplies some of the UK's most loved brands. Demonstrating their forward thinking attitude, our client is investing massively in their UK manufacturing facilities to offset the recent economic difficulties of the currency exchange.

About the Role:

An integral part of the business, the National Account Executive will be working with some of the company's key/regional accounts within the Midlands region across the Foodservice/Wholesale and Cash and Carry channels.

This role requires a relationship maintainer approach along with a go getter attitude when it needs to be applied, as this is a well-mixed role between managing existing accounts whilst also seeking new business.

The main part of the role will be:

  • Regional JBP planning with regional directors of the key national accounts.
  • P&L responsibility for key regional accounts.
  • Have contact with regional head office buyers.
  • Identify and create presentations for potential new customers.

 

About You:

It's imperative that you're a self-starter. You'll have the commercial prowess to maintain and develop relationships with our clients' customers, due to the fact they have had these relationships in place over the last half century. On the flip side you have a go getter attitude meaning you'll be able to strike new business relationships for prospective clients who have yet to use our clients' products.
