Space Planning Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Retail Space Planning Manager to become part of this award winning retail business who continue to grow and innovate in an exceptionally competitive marketplace.

Your new role
As a Space Planning Manager you will lead a team of Space Planners to deliver a compelling range and space mix across different store formats, ensuring store layouts are customer-centric, thus ensuring sales are optimised through the maximisation of the space available. Working closely with other parts of the business including Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing and Operations, you will compose plannogrammes in a time-efficient and logical manner to and continually monitor and analyse category performance.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate a proven track record of managing, developing and engaging a team of space planners in a high volume, fast-paced retail environment. Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of a retail space planning software package such as Apollo, Spaceman or JDA. You will thrive under pressure and be used to working to tight deadlines with shifting priorities, and have first rate analytical, communication and influencing skills.
