Description
As National Account Manager you will inherit a portfolio of accounts that you will need to grow and develop as well as potentially identifying new commercial opportunities in the retail sector. An element of the position will be new business development where you prospect new accounts to add to the portfolio.
Our client can offer an entrepreneurial, friendly, non-corporate culture where you can thrive alongside other members of the sales team. You must be hardworking, determined and passionate with relevant experience so you can quickly adapt in the role. The successful candidate will ideally be from within the FMCG industry who is already an established National Account Manager or Key Account Manager looking to step up. You will be passionate about a healthy lifestyle and the role nutrition plays within this.
Profile
The National Account Manager should be a high energy, enthusiastic individual that has experience in a fast paced FMCG company. Ideally you will have had responsibility for at least one major retailer grocers in the past (minimum of one whole JBP cycle) and will have held P & L responsibility.
The ideal national account manager will be eager to learn and to expand their horizons. You will be comfortable being stretched and would welcome the opportunity to take on the diverse challenges that come from working with a fast growing business. The individual should be on a clear path of career progression that would, in turn, demonstrate the individual's same potential for growth in this business with the ability to lead a sales team in the future.
