National Account Manager UK (North) sought by Montagne Jeunesse.

Montagne Jeunesse is a UK based FMCG cosmetics Company who have been in business and growing for 30 years. We specialise in natural, vegetarian skincare sachets with distribution channels in over 90 countries. We are seeking a UK National Account Manager based in the North who will have responsibility for maximising distribution of all products/brands within the designated national and key accounts.

Days & Hours: Monday to Friday Full Time.

Salary: Up to £50k basic dependent on experience. OTE commensurate with the level of the role. There is also a generous benefits package and a company car/car allowance available.

Responsibilities

The National Account Manager will be responsible for a range of accounts across various channels concentrating on driving growth in the North of the UK within existing accounts, developing relationships further and identifying and progressing new business opportunities. Key duties will include but are not limited to:

Achieving sales and profit targets;

Winning new business within key channels;

Developing existing relationships;

Developing channel plans based on agreed strategy;

Ensuring new products are delivered in line with strategy;

Managing and planning customer promotion plans within budget;

Negotiating annual agreements with customers;

Business planning and budget management.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience of National Account Management in a similar autonomous role preferably within the beauty/FMCG industry. 
You will have a proven track record of successfully selling fast moving consumer goods to major retailers such as supermarkets (e.g. Asda,
Morrisons,) or large independent chains and the ability to manage and develop these substantial accounts. Previous evidence of meeting or exceeding targets is highly advantageous.

Skills

The successful applicant will be a natural and talented sales person, possess excellent negotiation skills with the ability to identify and maximize commercial opportunity autonomously, have exemplary project management, problem solving and analytical skills together with excellent numeracy skills. You will have natural interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to sustain high levels of accuracy.

Other

This role requires extensive, regular travel throughout the UK as required. Location of applicants is flexible although being based on the M62 corridor would be ideal. Regular visits to the Company’s head office in South Wales will be required.
