An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading tea brands. As a business they are steeped in heritage and have been first to market with a number of innovative product ideas. They have products across a number of categories including black tea, healthy and herbal, fruit infusions and coffee. With a fantastic range of hot beverages and a very ethical approach to production they have been going from strength to strength. They are now looking for a talented National Account Manager to join their commercial team.

As National Account Manager you will take full P&L responsibility for a variety of accounts across the High Street Retail and Discount channels. This is likely to include customers such as Iceland, Aldi, Lidl, Poundland and TJ Morris but this may change dependant on experience. You will be tasked with implementing effective Joint Business Plans and agreeing promotional activity whilst driving both branded and own label sales across your account base. As part of this role you will also work very closely with the Commercial Director and play an active part in defining the channel strategy moving forward.

In order to be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have FMCG food or drink experience managing accounts within the Discount or High Street Retail channel. The ideal candidate will have live contacts within these channels but stand out individuals from other retail channel backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. This role would suit either an experience National Account Manager looking for a new challenge or an ambitious National Account Executive who is ready to make the next step in their career.
