Job Details
An expanding Food Manufacturer requires a Head of Operations to help lead and drive their strategy during a key stage of the company's growth.
The Opportunity
You will take on a hands-on operations role, leading a team of five based from their head office in Gloucestershire. Working with board level stakeholders, you will help to design and implement policies and procedures that will improve existing standards.
The business has established and committed Managers heading up each individual department, and it will be your responsibility to work with each Manager to improve cross-departmental communication, reporting and collaboration.
An important part of your role will be to increase budgeting accuracy and improve their financial reporting structure, therefore previous experience in business accounting and P&L management is essential.

Next Steps
This role is suited to a hands-on people manager, who is experienced in implementing new operational procedures and practices across multiple departments. You will need to demonstrate strong commercial awareness, and sensitivity towards a changing business culture.
Experience within Food Manufacturing would be advantageous, however those with backgrounds within the wider FMCG arena will also be considered.
