Customer Development Executive

Our client is a highly successful UK business with a £1.4bn global turnover producing high quality, consumer-trusted, brand-leading products across a number of different categories. Having doubled in size over the last four years under the direction of a creative and dynamic MD, it is set for further growth resulting from innovative product development and consumer engagement through above the line marketing investment.

With a highly personable and exciting internal culture, they are now looking to appoint a Customer Development Executive who will take direct responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of independent retailers and regional National Accounts at store level, working to a 6-week call cycle, delivering high standards of customer service. 

Key objectives will be to amplify the profile and category growth of the company’s brand through the independent sector as a primary objective; utilising strong business development skills in conjunction with in-store training to underpin the product appeal.

Additionally, you will be charged with developing new independent business and achieving agreed distribution gains within the National Account portfolio and following reporting channels to Line Managers, National Account and Marketing Teams.

You are now ready to further develop you career within an environment where you will be responsible for the profit of your regional business portfolio and have the platform from which to really excel and demonstrate your commercial capabilities, leading to realistic future career development opportunities in National Account Management.
