Due to an internal promotion my client is currently searching for an experienced Area Sales Manager or Key Account Manager from the Consumer Goods arena to join the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that has the ambition, drive and determination to take the next step in their sales career.

The company I am currently working with are a multi-million pound global business with currently trading in over 60 countries. They are leading manufacturers of some of the world’s most well-known personal health, wellness and electronic products supplying some of the major retailers throughout the UK and internationally. The entrepreneurial spirit that has been created by the owner is demonstrated by their constant analysis of the market and the exploration of new opportunities to ensure they continue being market leaders. This has created an excellent working environment and which has led to a high level of autonomy and trust given to the sales team.

As Key Account Manager you will maximise opportunities and revenue within existing accounts and highlighting key areas for growth. You will also be providing support to the National Account Managers within the team on the larger accounts, attending customer visits and supporting with in-store merchandising. Dependent on location this can be a home or office based position.

The ideal candidate will currently be working in a sales capacity within Consumer Goods and have an excellent track record of building, growing and developing accounts. Experience dealing with large independent stores would be beneficial but not necessary. A background within a specific Product area is not vital for this particular role but the passion and eagerness to progress within a successful business is key.
