Catman Jobs are currently recruiting a category manager for an own label business in the Yorkshire region, commutable from the East Midlands.

The Business

The Role

Handling a wide variety on insights responsibility, you will work with the commercial and NPD team to ensure that the business's commercial strategy is ground in an understanding of the market. Retailer-facing, you need to support negotiations and commercial management of the accounts with insights that demonstrate clearly the value of the recommendations made by the business regarding the growth of the retailer's bottom line. 

The Person

You need to be an individual capable of making things happen. Currently with exposure to data interrogation and assessment, you will have an analytical mind, with retailer facing skills.   With a track record in trade marketing / category, you will now be looking to join a team who can take your career forwards.  You need to be naturally inquisitive, and have a real passion for the food industry and delivering true commercial value.
