Exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised supplier of refrigeration products both for sales of and rental. A company who supplies a large retail and foodservice customer base.
My client is an importer of refrigeration based products for the commercial catering and retail sectors. They have a strong reputation throughout the UK and globally. Their product range is extensive and expanding supplying products that range from display chillers and freezers to cold rooms.
Due to strong growth in the UK and internationally, an expansion role has become available for a Business Development manager covering the South of England.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, build and maintain regional business, principally direct with the end users with a small amount sold through dealer relationships.
- Lead or contribute to the opening of new accounts.
- Work with the Sales manager to devise and implement a new business growth plan for new account wins.
- Work closely with the marketing department in the promotion of the company through regular publicity, exhibitions and networking meetings
- Monitor and analyze competitor activity.
ABOUT YOU:
My client is looking for an experienced sales person ideally already with a track record in the Refrigeration or Foodservice equipment sectors.
Candidate experience would include:
- New business opener and pipeline builder.
- Experience of Foodservice end user customers and retail clients.
- Evidence of being a strong new account developer and relationship builder.
- Must be performance and results driven, with a proven track record.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrable ambition, drive and enthusiasm for the role.
CANDIDATE LOCATION:
Birmingham South to cover clients throughout Southern England.
