Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of a high-growth company where you can shape and influence the category’s future?
Our client is an internationally recognised drinks business achieving high double-digit growth operating within the fastest growing category of the drinks sector. With an objective to continue on this high growth curve they need to appoint a Head of Category leading a team of 3, with a clear remit to champion their in-store execution. This individual will ensure that their total portfolio is represented with the right range and merchandising in every channel, in every country across EMEA in which to further accelerate growth.
This is a broad role where you will lead the application of category management principles in EMEA to identify customer/consumer insights to strategically position the business. This will be within the principles of the perfect store (space, range, merchandising, primary and secondary placements) across all key channels, for all countries. Operating with distributors, their sales teams and retailers across EMEA this is a massive influencing role where to be successful you need to be able to engage and excite people to get them fully bought into executing the recommendations in stores.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 year experience working in FMCG business within a Category Development role. You will have a strong understanding of customer needs and be able to anticipate and deal with objections to achieve results. If you are highly adaptable to a rapid changing environment and have the desire to learn how to work in a small, dynamic and non-corporate environment, driven by fast decision making, not processes and systems then this will be for you.
