We are currently searching for a forward thinking and ambitious National Account Manager to join one of the UK's leading manufacturers of household cleaning goods. This truly global business is active in almost every country in every corner of the globe and their varied product range includes a multitude of globally recognised brands. The strength of their brand and the efforts of their valued workforce have led to significant growth in recent years, leading to this great new opportunity!

The role of Senior National Account Manager, which reports directly into the UK Sales Director, will involve all aspects the day to day management of the Tesco account with full P&L responsibility of 20m. You will be fully responsible for the growth of the brands across the portfolio and channel, working closely with the brand and category teams to ensure the business develops a strong understanding of the customer and how they operate.

To be successful in this role you'll require excellent relationship management skills and an ability to negotiate successfully with experienced and challenging buying teams. Prior experience of working on a Tesco account (including National Account Executives if you have full P&L) would be a great advantage however those with experience on any top five multiple grocery account can be considered with a preference on those who have worked in a blue-chip business with recognised brands. Due to office location you need to be South East based - no flexibility on this one I'm afraid!
