Holgran Sales Account Leader

Hovis Limited is a vertically integrated baking and flour milling business currently operated by The Gores Group as part of a stand-alone joint venture. The Company was created in April 2014 to help release new investment to upgrade its operational infrastructure and reinvigorate the Hovis brand, building on its rich heritage. Nish Kankiwala our CEO brings a wealth of commercial and marketing experience from previous roles with Unilever, Pepsico and Burger King.  He has been an integral part of the business for the past 2 years and has recently taken over as CEO.

A great opportunity has arisen at Hovis within our Milling business, Rank Hovis, we're looking for a Sales Account Leader at our Head Office in High Wycombe.  The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate activities that support the delivery of Holgran Business Performance to the agreed business plan.

Your role will be to co-ordinate activities that support the delivery of the Holgran Business performance to the agreed business plan, and to play an active part of the Holgran and Retail Business Unit whilst ensuring alignment to Rank Hovis Milling Ltd requirements and policies.

Through this alignment you will be part of a high performing team culture in the Retail Business Unit, to the purpose, vision, values and behaviour of Rank Hovis Milling Ltd.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the delivery of Holgran on volume, Gross Margin, EBITDA, BOP and cash targets
  • Liaise with Holgran suppliers on pricing relating to NPD, BOP or core SKUs
  • Provide the Holgran Business Unit Development Manager with timely and accurate market information through liaison with the Bakery insight team.
  • Maintain the primary communication link for all customers under 1 tonne per month
  • Report monthly on Holgran activity and achievements to Holgran BDM including monthly activity plans
  • Time management of customer information for deliveries, specifications, bespoke customer requests and suppliers.
  • Manage effective communication on issue resolution, ensuring Holgran BDM is aware to ensure action is taken to resolve issues including credit risks, quality issues, management of new accounts and lost business in a timely manner.
  • Support all internal and external commercial administration such as PnF’s, customer letters, complaint resolution letters, customer liaison etc.
  • Management of sample communication with relevant supplying site or test bakery and logistics to ensure correct sample sent on time and with correct supporting documentation.
  • Management of customer samples from request to completion
  • Management of test bakery booking for customer meetings
  • Management of test bakery for product evaluation in line with customer needs
  • Order Stock via 3rd parties

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical / Commercial experience within the B2B trading environment
  • Ability to understand and interpret Technical specifications and data sheets
  • Evidence of ability to influence cross functionally

  • Numerate and commercially astute
