Hovis Limited is a vertically integrated baking and flour milling business currently operated by The Gores Group as part of a stand-alone joint venture. The Company was created in April 2014 to help release new investment to upgrade its operational infrastructure and reinvigorate the Hovis brand, building on its rich heritage. Nish Kankiwala our new CEO brings a wealth of commercial and marketing experience from previous roles with Unilever, Pepsico and Burger King.  He has been an integral part of the business for the past 2 years and has recently taken over as CEO. 

We are looking for an experienced Insight Manager to drive consumer, shopper and Category understanding into the heart of the Hovis business This role is based in High Wycombe and is working along side the commercial team.

This role will serve as the central hub for all insight across the commercial teams (Sales, Category, Marketing) ensuring Hovis are on the front foot seizing realistic opportunities which the insight generated present and mitigating risks also
The ideal candidate should be ruthless in their pursuit of understanding about what makes consumers and shoppers tick and applying this to deliver insight which turns into commercial plans to deliver against business goals.

The Insight Manager will work cross-functionally with other teams to deliver their agenda and should therefore be able to demonstrate excellent senior stakeholder relationships and influence.

Your role will be to deploy the Hovis Category Strategy with customers making sure  you turn insight provided to them into action with the customers.
Understand the customer and their strategy and be the voice of the customer internally along with tayloring brand plans and lead the brand sell with the customer.
Identify every category opportunity for the customer and work with sales and customer to achieve goal .Provide clear and insightful reports to internal and external stakeholders and agree action plans.  Hold category surgeries with account teams to review category risks and opportunities.
