National Account Executive

With an impressive heritage, this company offers an expanding portfolio of market leading, trusted consumer brands across the Top retailers in the UK. With a turnover exceeding a billion USD, this company is now looking to expand its team by appointing a National Account Executive to support a TOP 4 account. 

The Role

  • Responsible for all elements of the process including developing existing listings, generating new business, managing product launches and steering promotional activities to deliver the turnover budget
  • Implementation of tight account management and administrative procedures including; sales forecasting, price file maintenance and contract management.
  • Develop customer relationships and raise customer awareness of the Organisation and brand portfolio & focus on key projects/drivers within accounts which will ensure maximum impact / benefit.
  • Act and behave as representative of the companies brand in all dealings with external customers, by building and maintaining relationships at all levels.
  • Able to work productively with colleagues from all other departments
  • Ensure clear and concise key contact communication internally and externally with the information flow between customer and internal stakeholders. 
  • Support the National Account Manager in the identification of business development opportunities, providing compelling insights and benefits to ensure customer activation.  
  • Prepare reports 
  • Internal management of customer requirements 
  • Management of key technical meetings, technical quarterly review and site visits. 
  • Proactively review categories and make recommendations to internal and external stakeholders whilst simultaneously preparing reports 

The Candidate:

  • FMCG experience 
  • Preferably degree qualified
  • Creative in problem solving 
  • Ability to negotiate/influence effectively
  • Demonstrate successful sales results  
  • Data analysis skills and presentation skills
