A globally recognised manufacturer of non-food consumer goods who is one of the market leaders in the industry is now looking to add to their team a proactive and experienced Regulatory Product Compliance Manager. As Regulatory Product Compliance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage corporate product compliance strategies and infrastructure for European and International Markets; across all new and existing products. This will include, directing and supporting product and compliance activities such as policies, programs and practices. You will have an understanding of all applicable existing and developing product standards, laws, rules and regulations for the relevant markets. You will work collaboratively with regional business units, analysing and recommending the best course of action for the company in terms of compliance and regulatory strategy.

To be considered for this position you must have 10+ years’ experience in a regulatory compliance product and issue management role, across both domestic and international markets. Non-food consumer goods experience is preferred, ideally with an understanding of consumer electronics products. Also experience of leading and hands-on management of a regulatory compliance department for a global industry is desired.

You must have knowledge of        

  • UL, CSA, NOM, VDE, TUV and other related third party arrival body processes

With a strong working knowledge, of

  • UL, IEC safety standards and machine safety, along with other safety organisations/directives. This also includes a strong knowledge of children’s product safety and regulatory requirements.

You must be a self-starter with the ability to multi task and work across different divisions and levels of an organisation. Being business focused and having a passion for understanding business strategy is also a must along with a degree in a technical field such as electrical, mechanical and/chemical engineering. Finally, you must have a great sense of humour and positive outlook.
