Our client, a leading player in Fresh Food, is looking for an Assistant Category Manager to support one of their Account Managers in the day to day running of supplying a major national account. Ideally a graduate with 1-2 years experience, this is a great opportunity to develop your career in national account management with a forward thinking and dynamic company in a very fast moving product area.
Responsibilities will include:
*Supporting the national account manager in the day to day dealings with a major national account
*Account administration, daily processing of orders, internal and external communication
*NPD and costing support
In addition you will gain significant development and exposure to budgeting, forecasting, price and promotional activity, identification of future growth opportunities through category management and project management through extensive NPD activity.
The salary is likely to be £23-£25k depending on experience
