Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager within the globally recognised Lotus Bakeries group.

The Business                            

Lotus Bakeries has established a highly recognised brand across the world. Specialising in the manufacture of speciality bakery products, the group’s UK division, Lotus Bakeries UK, focuses on caramelised biscuits and spreads. Having become synonymous with the ‘coffee occasion’ – Lotus Bakeries UK supply primarily to the UK retail & foodservice sectors, and are headquartered out of Manchester.

The Role

Due to significant brand expansion in recent years, the UK team is now looking to add to its existing commercial team through the appointment of a Key Account Manager. Reporting into the Retail Sales Manager, you will become a customer champion for a portfolio of accounts within the Convenience & Impulse channel. Proactively building commercial relationships within these customers, you will be fully autonomous for your customer base and trusted with developing the Lotus brand to build sustainable & mutually profitable business within this channel.

The Individual

You will currently be a National Account Executive or Junior National Account Manager with circa 2-3 years’ experience, seeking your first step into a fully autonomous account management position. You will have developed your initial experience in an FMCG environment, developing a clear understanding of commercial negotiation & delivering against sales, volume & profit targets. You will be highly tenacious & present a confident, outgoing personality which will fit seamlessly into a collaborative & tight-knit team.
