The Role

As Head of Personal Care Marketing, you will drive delivery of Annual and Strategic Business Plan goals for all Personal Care brands - including Huggies® Baby Wipes, Huggies® Pull-Ups, Huggies® Little Swimmers, DryNites®, Depend® and Kotex®.

You will lead the Personal Care Marketing team with 6 direct reports and a wider team of 8. You are accountable for the strength and diversity of your team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Personal Care marketing team to develop and execute UK brand strategy, portfolio development, price strategy and innovation plans across the portfolio.
  • Develop and drive delivery of Annual and Strategic Business Plan goals for all Personal Care categories (BCC & AFC).
  • Deliver on annual financial and share growth commitments.
  • Develop and execute brand operating plans including commercial programmes.
  • Build effective relationships with key retailers to support delivery of Joint Business Plans and brand activation.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across at a local, regional and global level to influence results and leverage best practices.
  • Evaluate and drive new business development opportunities for the business.
  • Key member of the UK & Ireland Leadership Team, contributing to the development and delivery of the UK Strategic Business Plan, great place to work and people strategy. Execute relevant strategies particularly in relation to talent, culture transformation and leadership capability.

 


The Individual

The position requires a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent and sufficient experience in Marketing or other commercial function within a medium to large-sized operation (multi-national) at a senior level. Commercial experience is also required. A proven track record in delivering market share growth by driving brand strategic development and execution, delivering innovation and providing strong input to commercial strategy is essential as are the following skills and capabilities:

 

  • Strong strategic marketing skills with proven track record of successfully driving portfolio/category repositioning across markets and new business development.
  • Led the development and execution of commercial programmes that deliver exceptional results.
  • Expert authority and knowledge of all the operational and commercial performance levers. Has led sustained improvement in business and in market performance.
  • Strong appreciation of the importance of product development and innovation to the ongoing development of a progressive brand-led organisation, with experience of successful new product innovation launches.
  • Exceptional leader of people and talent builder of high performance teams.
  • Proven strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence in a matrix environment.
  • Proven record of driving positive change in the team and organisation.
  • Winning mind-set and results driven.
