The Role

The company is now seeking to appoint a National Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of major customers, specifically in the Business to Business Manufacturing sector within hygiene manufacturing and the personal care industry within the Irish market. The posting will be technical, solution based selling, providing customers with ingredients and working with them to develop products to meet their specific needs.

As National Account Manager you will be tasked with developing sales and profit within key strategic accounts; you will be building and developing relationships within the existing customer base as well as continuously seeking new business opportunities and gaps in the market.

You will be managing complex relationships; connecting the right people within the business to the right people within the customer is seen as an essential skill. Establishing and uncover opportunities using your knowledge of both products and your customer base are an integral part of the role, in order to develop long term relationships and sustainable growth.  You will be providing in-depth product knowledge and working with the NPD teams in order to provide product solutions to challenges customers may face.

The Candidate

  • You should have relevant B2B sales experience at a National Account level.
  • You should have excellent communication and IT skills.
  • You should be a strong relationship builder with the ability to influence people at all levels.
  • A qualification in Chemistry, Food Technology, or similar, would greatly support your application.
