Bring your exceptional track record in digital grocery retail to the global FMCG leader.

As National Account Manager reporting to our Digital Commerce Channel Director, you’ll play a critical role in helping maximise the online sales performance of the Mars Food portfolio by defining, executing and measuring the online commercial, merchandising and media strategy.  As the primary commercial interface with our Pure Play online retailers, Amazon and Ocado, you’ll also act as Customer Marketing Lead for our key Bricks and Clicks customers such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrison’s.  Accountable for the Ocado and Amazon P&L and for achieving annual NSV and strategic targets within your assigned budget, as well as delivering the annual JBPs as National Account Manager you’ll also:

  • act as subject matter expert in online execution with Brick and Click retailers
  • drive sales in these channels through best-in-class TTL activation
  • provide support, insights and education to the customer teams on all aspects of retailer strategy and execution.

Qualified to degree level in a business-related discipline, you have a proven commercial track record in digital commerce, specifically within digital grocery retail.  Experienced in account management and customer development within a CPG business, you have a real grasp of core business metrics and how these can be influenced through price, promotion and mix.  An excellent all-round communicator, who negotiates well, where the outcome is felt as positive from both sides, and capable of educating and reporting across all key metrics, as National Account Manager you also have:

  • a good mix of analytical/conceptual skills
  • proven project management skills
  • exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • comfort with fast-paced, dynamic environments.
