Brand New Business Development Manager role working for one of the UK's largest FMCG wholesalers

Client Details

One of the UK's largest FMCG wholesales supplying cash and carry, retail, grocery, convenience and foodservice customers

Description

As Business Development Manager you will take on the following responsibilities:

- To canvass new business and protect existing business, develop sales and protect profit margins

- Manage the new business you bring in

- Focusing on on trade customers including pubs, clubs, restaurants and hotels

- Achieve sales targets set by the On trade Controller

- To attend exhibitions and trade shows when requested

- To resolve issues to the satisfaction of our customers

This is an ideal role for an experienced candidate currently working within the drinks on trade or fresh food sectors who is looking to join an established business in a brand new role to grow the client base and increase sales for the depot.





Profile

Business Development Manager Profile requirements:

- On Trade field sales experience

- Understanding of the food industry (ideal would be meat industry)

- Wholesale / distribution background within FMCG sales ideal

- Strong business acumen

- Ability to drive new business sales in a new territory

- Strong communication and organisation skills

- Good time management and planning skills

- Based in or around the Cardiff area

- Clean UK driving licence
