Job Details
Vietnamese Kitchen is a well established Asian restaurant group with traditional Vietnamese restaurants and street food delis from central to east London. Job Description:
To ensure all required information communicated across staff
To review all restaurant operations on a monthly basis and implement actions where needed
Undertake daily meetings within the restaurant to update staff on ongoing projects
Make suggestions for restaurant improvements with creative ideas to boost sales
Be able to handle all guest feedback and record correctly – including working with food alert
Creating rotas
Prepare all revenue and profit budgets as well as expense budgets meeting financial goals
Take responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant & making suggestions for restaurant improvements
Assist in the smooth running of the restaurant
Daily/weekly reports
Recruit, train, mange and motivate staff through training programs
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene and health and safety of the restaurant
EPOS Management
Cashing up
Hitting target GPs
Stock control
Premises Security – To ensure all relevant areas are secure especially at closing times
Take minutes of meetings with Staff and Proprietor – review, take immediate necessary action, follow through and report.
Full knowledge of Emergency procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
Positive attitude
Commitment to the company
Good time keeping
Experience in a general manager position for at least 2 years
Enthusiastic attitude, supporting colleagues in the pursuit of the restaurants current goals
‘Hands on’
Strong English written and oral communication skills
Can cope well under pressure
Ability to lead a team
Problem solving ability
Experience in managing finances, financial reports and hitting company targets
Maintain high standards of personal appearance
