Our client is a leading supplier of houseware and giftware products who  supply many of the UK’s high street, departmental, independent and specialist retailers.

They are now actively recruiting for an experienced and talented Area Sales Manager who will be responsible for their South East territory covering London, Essex, Kent and the Southern Home counties across to Hampshire.  

You will be responsible for developing new and existing business selling to independent retailers, cookshops, hardware stores, department stores, garden centres, gift shops and farm shops.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong track record gained in field sales together with excellent selling skills and a real ability to develop and nurture business relationships. Additionally, you will have excellent organisational and journey planning skills. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience selling to the independent channel.

This role will suit a ‘hunter’.

Experience within the housewares, giftware or wider FMCG non-food sector is a must together with the energy, drive and enthusiasm to be successful.
