Senior Category Manager - 6 Month FTC

My client, a global Personal Care Consumer Goods company with brands that are major players across the world are looking for a Senior Category Manager to join them on a 6 month FTC basis with the opportunity to be extended or join permanently!

With 6 direct reports, you will be heavily involved both internally and externally within this role. You will guide and shape the category strategy across multiple brands ensuring that you are constantly seen as the category leader within the market. You will identify new opportunities within key retailers and develop strong category relationships to ensure strategic initiatives and concepts can be agreed and implemented. You'll have full responsibility for instore presence when it comes to distribution, shelf space and merchandising to maximise revenue within your category. From a strategic perspective, you will be heavily involved in business planning and will help shape the joint business plan to ensure maximum profitability is achieved within each key retailer.

The successful candidate will ideally be at Senior Category Manager level within an FMCG business. You will have proven experience in Category Development including ownership of range reviews, have people management experience and will also have experience with the grocery and/or pharmacy channel.
