Area Sales Executive selling eye-wear into independent retailers in the South East.
Client Details
My client is a leading manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses and frames. They have been established for 140 years and are specialists in the industry. They operate on a global scale and have just restructured their operations in the UK, opening up an opportunity for an area sales executive to join the team. They are looking for a field sales executive to come on-board and take on responsibility from day one, by managing their existing accounts and looking for alternative ways to develop new business.
Description
The Area Sales Executive role will involve:
- Managing existing accounts by maintaining relationships with clients.
- Developing new business opportunities within your territory.
- Arranging appointments with store managers and decision makers.
- Selling into independent retailers.
- Managing your own diary to work effectively.
- Journey planning to ensure efficiency with appointments.
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Field sales experience.
- Account management experience in a client-facing role.
- Ability to obtain new business.
- Use of own initiative.
- IT literate.
- Experience of managing own diary.
- Live on patch - SE Eng
- Full driving license.
Job Offer
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Commission, company car and additional benefits.
