Sentinel is an expanding management training consultancy providing best practice training and advice to blue chip FMCG suppliers. We are known for bringing a real life focus into our development programmes and our use of hard hitting real issues and behaviours contrasts with most theoretical training, resulting in quantifiable business results.

Our consultants are trained coaches and faciliators but who have lived the real commercial roles either in  FMCG buying or sales and this combined with our wide ranging and proven training programmes makes us different from other training providers. Whilst our clients are the biggest and best blue chip companies, we are a lean dynamic organisation experiencing growth on a global scale.

Our core products involve training and consultancy in negotiation, selling and commercial influencing, business planning and category management.

We are currently recruiting to support that growth and are looking for an experienced 'blue chip' senior buyer/buying director or FMCG account manager/director who can demonstrate;

  • a track record of success in developing business
  • an ability to communicate and inspire others
  • a interest in people and a passion for people and personal development development
  • competence and confidence in dealing with all levels of an organisation
  • executive maturity and cultural awareness
  • and of course someone who is driven, has high personal standards and is able and enjoys ambiguity in their day to day job
  • Fluency in English is essential, and fluency in other languages welcomed

The role is based in SE England.

We offer an attractive compensation package with opportunities for career and personal development in our exciting organisation.

This is a position suitable for someone who has great FMCG experience (either buying or selling) but is looking to use those skills in a completely different way and wants a new challenge rather than just 'more of the same'.
