The Company:
My client is part of the largest FMCG group in the world. As part of their growth path, we are currently recruiting a Global Procurement Lead for Standards & Governance to be based in Middlesex.
The Challenge:
• Part of the Global Procurement structure, you will have responsibility for leading the development and application of the Standards and Governance strategy for global procurement by developing policies in alignment with regional strategies.
• You will bring best-in-class advanced ideas and initiatives, with a focus on innovation and sustainability, whilst managing the sourcing cycle and supplier relationships.
• You will deliver highly strategic solutions and manage senior stakeholders effectively, providing leadership on Standards and Governance subjects across the procurement community.
• You will own the global procurement policies, standards and governance framework and procedures; Procurement Operating Model; RACI; delegation of responsibility.
The Candidate:
• Of graduate calibre, you have gained significant experience in Standards and Governance strategy in a FMCG procurement environment, across multiple geographies.
• You have so solid background in world-class category/sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management and supplier performance management.
• Above all you have operated at senior level in a change environment on procurement transformation projects.
• Whilst being process oriented, you will be highly agile in your thinking and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.
• Accustomed to working autonomously, with strong personal impact to gain credibility quickly, you have proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across a global, complex matrix structure.
