Our client is a well established food ingredients business, who are undergoing an unprecedented period of growth. With established accounts with some of the most recognisable and well known names in the foodservice sector and ambitious growth plans in place, our client is continuing to take the food ingredients market by storm.

What the role involves:

Reporting to a Regional Sales Manager and covering a set geographical territory, the Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales objectives in key Foodservice outlets by developing relationships and managing existing accounts within the region. The sales territory comprises a mix of direct and indirect supplied customers. The role will be home based with the majority of the time being allocated to working in the field with customers, with a set amount of time allocated for planning and preparation.

The successful Business Development Manager will:

  • Have strong selling and influencing skills.
  • Have a good level of commercial awareness.
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Show strong relationship building skills within a team environment.
  • Have excellent understanding of pricing and profit margins.
