The Company:

Working for a well-known and highly respected MARKET LEADER, who are regarded as the premium brand within the floorcoverings sector they operate in. They are looking to expand their sales force with the key appointment of an Area Sales Manager to cover the North West of England. They have a reputation for designing and manufacturing innovative, dynamic products. They are enjoying an exceptional period of growth with lots of strategic projects on the boil which will ensure that the growth is sustainable.

Job Description:

You will be managing and developing an existing account base of clients from within the independent retailers and Builders merchants. Duties will include; Meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets, Ensure customer call targets are maintained. Provide account management to an existing territory. Ensure the company’s brands are presented in a professional manner through the company’s trading partners. Manage brand penetration within sales territory and recognising the importance of brand presentation through POS materials within customer outlets. Excellent organisation skills

The Person:

Ideally you will be currently working within the Flooring, Ceramic Tiles, Furniture, DIY or a related construction sector and have sold to either Builder Merchants or Independent Retailers. You will possess a drive and determination to succeed and be a consultative sales professional, that can generate business by selling the quality of the product rather than discounting the price.
