Are you a sales driven and ambitious individual with a strong background of delivering results within an FMCG business? If you're fed up of having your growth limited by company structure and are keen to progress your career freely then this market leading multi-channel FMCG business based in North Yorkshire could be a great fit for you.

Due to an ambitious work ethic and rapid growth plans, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a successful Retail Account Manager to join their experienced sales team. Our client is looking for a results driven candidate who can successfully implement marketing and sales objectives across existing retail accounts and push the business forward.

The role

Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for:
  • Growing and developing specific retail accounts with full P&L responsibility
  • Creating and implementing JBP's for specific accounts
  • Generating and delivering promotional campaigns
  • Communicating effectively with other divisions to effectively meet account strategies
  • Achieving both fiscal sales and customer service targets
  • Successfully driving NPD and innovation
  • Providing regular updates of current performance against targets and forecasts


Our client is looking for an experienced National Account Manager / Business Development Manager who can easily adapt to the ranging product portfolio and NPD. For this role you must have experience in maintaining strong client relationships with key accounts. You will be highly analytical when budgeting and reporting and strategically minded.

Your experience

The successful applicant will have:
  • National/retail account management experience with full P&L responsibility on a national scale
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation capability
  • Proven record of delivering results and meeting targets
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Any experience within DIY accounts will benefit you significantly.


This is an office based position and the right candidate will be within commuting distance of North Yorkshire.
