We are currently working with a category leader in premium spirits market, who are on the search for National Account Manager to join their team! Managing some of the company’s biggest accounts, this presents a brilliant opportunity for an individual looking to expand on their existing experience and accelerate their career!

As an FMCG specialist you’ll utilise and draw upon your existing network of contacts to push forward product listings, win new business, and increase sales across the UK!

The Company:

This innovative, dynamic, and vibrant spirits brand has seen rapid growth since its launch and you'll be tasked to implement the terms at regional and national level to achieve specific volume, availability, distribution, share of space and additional placement objectives.

You will be passionate and driven with demonstrable ability to identify new leads. A typical day will involve identifying and winning new customers, tactically driving sales, whilst managing existing accounts. You’ll need to be effective in diary planning and management in order to keep your time to a premium in order to ensure.

As demand for premium spirit brands continues to grow, this iconic brand sets itself apart from others with its authenticity and provenance. The team now has ambitious growth plans to and seeks to grow on their recent success to establish themselves as the number one brand in their category. The success of the brand and overall business offers a great sense of stability and opportunity to grow and advance your career in a variety of directions.

The Opportunity

The role requires an individual with a wealth of previous account management experience. Responsible for driving forward volume and achieving revenue targets, you will remain aware of your competitors, whilst maintaining a determination to win. Customer contact will be essential to achieving this, the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships being an essential asset.

Furthermore, your ability to understand a premium strategy and role this out will be key. In achieving this, you will be joining at a very exciting time for the company, with the opportunity to be a big part of their ongoing success story.

 The Role:

  • Building strong and commercial relationships with key strategic customers
  • Attending regular reviews with key decision makers.
  • Knowledge and experience of producing strategic sales plans.
  • Growing & maintaining value within a specific channel.
  • Ability to deliver regular promotion and merchandising concepts aligned with brands premium strategy.
  • Being available to support key Brand initiatives across the UK.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working within a premium FMCG brand
  • You'll be highly energised, personable with great attitude and personality
  • You'll maintain a hunger to be the best and drive the business forward
  • Strong cross category commercial skills
  • PC and Mac Literate with high competency using Microsoft Office
  • Full clean driving license
  • Ability to motivate & influence others
  • Enterprise wide team player
  • Analytical thinker with strong commercial acumen
  • Courage and conviction to stand by decisions that you believe in
  • Strong drive & ambition to grow and develop within the business
