The Role: Based in the Midlands, the successful Business Development Manager will be looking to develop a portfolio of accounts in the retail sector, dealing with high street, online and grocery firms. The role involves talking to senior buyers and operations managers, representing a company with innovative designs and a strong technical team.

The Company: With three decades of expertise behind them, our client is a leading supplier of a wide range of packaging including boxes, films, bags, labelling and sealing products. They are now looking to expand their sales team with this search for a new Business Development Manager, to help increase their nearly £40 million sales turnover.

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales experience
  • You will come from a new business sales background, ideally having sold a solution
  • The ability to deal with different stakeholders is important
  • Driven candidates with great relationship building skills
