Category Manager

Our client is going from strength to strength and is ensuring that this is continued through smart investment and a focus on having the best talent. The business manufacturer 2 leading FMCG brands within their sector, one of which has achieved 40% growth across all channels in the last 6 months.

Both brands enjoy success in both the UK and a number of countries overseas, including Denmark and Singapore.

The business is now looking for an experienced Category Manager to join their dynamic sales and marketing team.

The Role

• Drive category growth by the use of data analytics, POS insights, building strong relationships and developing trust
• Communicate effectively through well thought out consumer and customer strategies
• Establish new opportunities and build on existing customer relationships within the customer base.
• Devise and implement successful category activities through agreed customer promotions such as; providing presentations based on strong data analysis, in-store POS and merchandising.
• Drive customer activation through POS data analysis and individual category plans.


Role Requirements

• Degree educated
• Category experience of at least 3 years
• Demonstrable success in a customer facing environment
• Strong leadership skills
• Top 4 Grocer experience
• Strong communication skills
• Extremely confident presenting
