The company specialise within a specific private label category and have demonstrated significant growth for a number of years outperforming competitors and securing long term business.  The business is hugely progressive and offers strong progression paths and actively encourage career development.  Currently at a stage of development where they can expand to a significant degree and have a huge appetite for growth and investment. 

As Commercial Director you will be responsible for a close knit team and measured on hitting budget, profit and volume working across the Grocery MULTs.  At the helm of the team, you will be responsible for medium to long term business planning and delivering short term business planning through your team.  This is a hugely pacey role and requires an individual who is capable of managing a significant portfolio of business, and able to operate across the whole supply chain pulling each key pillar together to enable the business to move forward at the pace required to continue the growth of the already strong relationships! 

Successful candidates will already be operating in a Top 4 Sales Leadership position, in either a Commercial Director capacity, General Manager or Managing Director position.  You will hold the following experience/ skills:
•    Strong, senior commercial experience within a private label FMCG environment in operating across the Top 4 Grocery MULTs – Chilled Food Manufacturing experience is a must
•    Proven ability delivering YOY profitable growth
•    Strategic in approach, an holistic thinker
•    Strong commercial acumen, highly numerical, logical thinker
•    Experience in developing and implementing short to medium term JBPs as well as medium to long term business planning
•    Working collaboratively, joining up various areas of the supply chain
•    Marketing / Customer Insight appreciation 
•    An operational background will be highly advantageous
