We are currently looking to recruit a Category Manager on a 9 month fixed term contract to support the Category Controller in delivering our ambitions growth plans. This is a critical role working across two of Arla's key customers where the right candidate will have responsibility for the delivery of Arla's category development agenda. You will work collaboratively with the Customer Business Unit, Marketing and the rest of the Category Team to ensure the key strategic opportunities for growth are identified, ensuring that these growth opportunities are fully delivered for the benefit of both these customers and ourselves whilst also ensuring our market leading customer service is delivered and maintained on a daily basis.
To be successful in this role you will have strong Category Management experience preferably in a category captain role. A strategic thinker with the ability to identify and process data trends and patterns, you will also be an expert user of Nielsen / IRI and Kantar databases and ideally experienced in using shopper data. Highly self-motivated, commercially astute and results driven with outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, you will be an effective communicator who is capable of building strong working relationships.
